Medical Coding is the process of conversion of text information related to healthcare services into numeric Diagnosis (Medical Problems) and Procedure (Treatments) Codes using ICD-9 CM and CPT code books. It was developed by “WHO” in 1948.

MC (Medical Coding): Medical Coding is a conversion of alphabetical value into a numerical value.
