SAS is a comprehensive statistical software system which integrates utilities for storing, modifying, analyzing, and graphing data.  SAS runs on both Windows and UNIX platforms. It was developed in the early 1970s at North Carolina State University intended for management and analysis of agricultural field experiments. And now this is the most widely used statistical software.
